We came from Australia over 25 years ago to restore the Moulin du Goth, a13th century watermill. The mill is situated in tranquil countryside at the northern end of the Lot department. All is peace against a background of gently flowing water and park like gardens
Surrounded by so many fantastic tourist sites Moulin du Goth is a great base for your sightseeing but if you are en route we can also provide a comfortable stopover.
The medieval village of Martel (pictured) is less than 5 minutes drive and essential medieval sights - Rocamadour, the Gouffre de Padirac, the steam train in Martel, castles of Bretenoux, Beynac CastelnuCarennac, Beaulieu, Collonges-la-Rouge and Turenne- are all within 30 minutes drive. The River Dordogne flows past our local village of Creysse, just 2 kms away - a perfect walk on a summer's day.
Within easy range for day trips by car, you will also find Sarlat, Beynac, Domme, Laroque Gageac, Les Eyzies, Lascoux and Pech Merle Caves.
